DeBary is a city in Volusia County, Florida, just north of the St. Johns River near Lake Monroe. According to the 2010 U.S. Census, the city had a population of 19,320. It is part of the Deltona–Daytona Beach–Ormond Beach, FL metropolitan statistical area, which was home to 590,289 people in 2010.
Located within West Volusia County, which is sometimes referred to as “the four towns area,” DeBary is included along with the cities of Deltona, Orange City and Deland.
DeBary has a fair share of large parks and open land, each serving several outdoor activities. It is the only 4 towns city that gets to boast the fact that it is served by SunRail, the Central Florida commuter rail system.
